Overview
Fungilab CV006-011 is a U-tube counterflow Capillary Viscometer model U-Tube Reverse Flow BS/IP/RF size 11 designed for the measurement of high viscosity liquids with a viscosity measurement range of 60,000 to 300,000 cSt.

Principle
At a certain temperature, when the liquid flows in an upright capillary tubing in a state of complete wetting of the tube wall, its kinematic viscosity is proportional to the flow time. When measuring, use a liquid with known kinematic viscosity as a standard, measure the time it takes to flow out of the Capillary Viscometer, and then measure the time it takes for the sample to flow out of the same Viscometer to calculate the viscosity of the sample.

Steps
1. Use a standard liquid with known kinematic viscosity to calibrate Viscometer and measure its outflow time
2. Inject the sample into the same Viscometer
3. Measurement of sample outflow time from Viscometer
4. Calculate the kinematic viscosity of the sample according to the outflow time of the standard liquid and the sample

• Make sure the liquid completely wetting the capillary wall
• The measurement process needs to be carried out at a constant temperature
• Standard liquid should be calibrated before use
• Avoid Viscometer Contamination or Damage
