Overview
TBJ-X3 + RDS 2 #3/8'Automatic Film Applicator is a small experimental Lab Film Applicator, all using imported accessories. The device ensures the uniformity and smoothness of Spreader coating by precisely controlling the speed of the Spreader and applying stable pressure. It is designed to solve the inconsistencies caused by artificial films due to factors such as speed and pressure, and significantly improve the reproducibility of the film. This machine comes standard with an RDS2 rod with an accuracy of up to 0.1 μm, which meets the needs of High Accuracy Spreader such as Spreader 4.6 μm film on PET film.

Principle
The Working Principle of the Automatic Film Applicator is to precisely control the Spreader head (such as a bar or drawdown blade) to move at a set constant speed on the substrate, while applying a steady, uniform pressure, driven by a motor. The matching film applicator (such as the High Accuracy import bar) determines the final thickness and accuracy of the wet-film. This mechanized coating method eliminates manual inconvenience, resulting in repeability and uniform film effects on multiple substrates.

Notice
* The fabric has a vapor transmission rate, so there is usually no need to choose a vacuum type when choosing a model.
* For paper substrates that are not easy to level, it is recommended to use models with Vacuum chuck function.
* The film accuracy is determined by the Coater and bar. In order to achieve ultra-thin High Accuracy film, it is recommended to use imported bar together.
* According to the sample characteristics (such as whether heating is required, particle size, viscosity, film thickness is fixed) and substrate type (such as film), refer to the Coater type selection table to select the appropriate model configuration.
