Overview
BANTE CA-US Calcium Ion Selective Electrode is a composite ion Electrode imported from the United States, which can be used without reference Electrode. Measurement range is wide, 0.02 to 4000ppm (or 5 × 10-7 to 1M), suitable for calcium Ion concentration detection in various water quality environments.
Features
1. Composite design, no additional reference Electrode, simplify the measurement system.
2. Using Solid State Sensor, it can be directly immersed in liquid for measurement.
3. The epoxy resin shell is durable and resistant to damage.
4. Measurement range is wide, covering 0.02 to 4000ppm.
5. Compatible with pH measurement, ranging from 2.5 to 11 pH.
Principle
The Electrode is based on ion-selective membrane technology, and its solid-state Sensor membrane has a specific Response to calcium ions (Ca2 +). When the Electrode is immersed in the solution to be tested, the membrane potential changes with the change of calcium ion activity in the solution. By measuring this potential difference, the concentration of calcium ions can be calculated.
Applications
Water quality analysis, environment monitoring, industrial process control, laboratory research

Steps
1. Connect the Electrode to the corresponding ion meter or pH/mV meter via the BNC interface.
2. Counter electrode calibrated using standard calcium ion solution.
3. Immerse the Electrode in the sample solution to be tested to ensure that the Sensor is fully immersed.
4. Wait for the reading to stabilize and record the measurement result.
5. After the measurement is completed, clean the Electrode with deionized water and store it properly.
Notice
• Pay attention to the main interfering ions during measurement, such as Mg2 +, Ba2 +, Pb2 +, Zn2 +, Fe2 +, Na +, K +, etc.
• Operating temperature within the specified range of 0 to 40 ° C (32 to 104 ° F).
• Electrode shell is epoxy resin, should avoid violent impact or contact with strong corrosion chemicals.
• When not in use for a long time, please store it according to the instructions.
• Regularly calibrate with standard solution to ensure measurement accuracy.
