Overview
FANGZHOU FZ-630 2-in-1 Electrode is a laboratory special sample Electrode designed for the measurement of samples that are prone to clogging of Electrode. It uses a single salt bridge Ag/AgCl reference structure and a ceramic core salt bridge, which is suitable for the measurement of samples with strong component adhesion, very little moisture, easy clogging Glass bulbs or reference salt bridge surfaces.
Features
1. Specially designed for easy-to-clog samples, with strong anti-pollution ability.
2. Adopt single salt bridge Ag/AgCl reference structure, stable performance.
3. The liquid junction is a ceramic sand core salt bridge, providing a stable liquid junction potential.
4. Sensitive membrane is designed for bulb, Fast Response.
5. The inner filling liquid can be replenished, which is convenient for maintenance and prolongs the life of Electrode.
6. Adopt standard BNC interface for strong compatibility.
Principle
FZ-630 2-in-1 Electrode integrates pH-sensitive Glass electrode and reference Electrode. When the pH-sensitive Glass membrane bulb contacts the sample, the membrane potential changes with the change of hydrogen ion concentration. The reference Electrode forms a stable electrochemistry circuit with the sample through the internal Ag/AgCl system and the ceramic core salt bridge to measure the pH value of the sample.
Applications
Suitable for measurement of samples easily clogged Electrode: emulsion, food, cosmetics, pigments, paints, soil, sewage.
Steps
1. Check whether the Electrode Appearance is in good condition and confirm that the BNC interface is clean.
2. If it is used for the first time or not used for a long time, soak the Electrode in a 3mol/L KCl solution or a dedicated activation solution to activate it.
3. Use a standard buffer solution for two- or three-point calibrating.
4. After calibrating, rinse the Electrode with deionized water and gently blot dry with filter paper (do not wipe the bulbs).
5. Immerse the Electrode in the sample to be tested, stir gently, and record the ph value after the reading stabilizes.
6. After the measurement is completed, rinse with deionized water and store Electrode according to storage requirements.
Notice
* Electrode-sensitive Glass bulbs and ceramic sand core salt bridges are very fragile, and should avoid collision with hard objects during use.
* During measurement, make sure that Electrode bulbs and salt bridges are completely immersed below the sample level.
* For viscous or settling samples, the Electrode should be thoroughly cleaned immediately after measurement to prevent clogging.
Regularly check the level of the filling liquid, and supplement the special filling liquid according to the instructions if necessary.
* When Electrode is not in use, it should be stored in a suitable protective solution according to the instructions, and do not dry it.
* Avoid long-term use in strong acid, strong alkali or high temperature (over 60 ° C) environment to prevent damage to Electrode.
* When calibrating and measuring, ensure that the temperature of the buffer and sample is consistent or temperature compensation has been performed.
