Overview
HUXI HXLG-12-50G freeze dryer is a Benchtop gland type low temperature drying equipment. It uses the principle of sublimation to freeze water-containing materials into solids, sublimate water under low temperature and low pressure conditions, so as to realize dehydrate drying of materials. The equipment is suitable for biological research, medicine, chemical industry, Food processing, Universities & colleges and other fields, for freeze drying and species preservation.

8. The cold trap has the function of independent pre-freezing of the early sample, and is equipped with a one-click defrosting function.
9. Built-in maintenance reminder function to remind users to perform instrument maintenance.
10. Equipped with a vacuum alarm function, it can promptly remind users whether the Vacuum Level is normal.
11. Equipped with High Accuracy Micro Adjustment Vacuum Valve, Micro Adjustment of Vacuum Level can be realized.
12. The vacuum connecting pipe is made of stainless steel anti-corrosion material, and comes with a standard KF25 vacuum clamp.
Principle
The freeze dryer mainly uses the principle of sublimation to dehydrate the material. Its working process is to freeze the water-containing material into a solid first, and then use the sublimation performance of water under low temperature and low pressure conditions to make the ice in the material directly sublimate into water vapor and be removed, so as to realize the low temperature dehydrate drying of the material.

Steps
1. Sample pre-freezing: Use the cold trap pre-freezing function built into the device or external methods to freeze the sample into a solid.
2. Loading samples: Put the pre-frozen samples (such as ampoules, vials, Glass flasks, etc.) into the material tray.
3. Start the device: Set the parameters through the Touchscreen and start the device, the system starts to vacuum and maintain the low temperature environment.
4. Freeze-drying process: Under the set low temperature and low pressure conditions, the ice in the sample sublimates and the moisture is trapped by the cold trap.
5. Process monitoring: Monitor parameters such as cold trap temperature, Vacuum Level, sample temperature and running time through the display screen.
6. End and sampling: After the lyophilization is completed, release the vacuum (for the gland type, the gland sealing can be performed) and take out the drying sample.
7. Defrosting and maintenance: Use the one-click defrosting function to clean the cold trap ice layer, and perform maintenance according to the equipment reminder.

• Ambient Temperature should not be higher than 30 ℃.
• Please be familiar with the device interface and functions before operation, and pay attention to misoperation of management permission settings.
• Pay attention to the vacuum alarm prompt to ensure the normal operation of the vacuum system.
• Regularly perform instrument maintenance according to the built-in maintenance reminder function of the device.
• Please follow the operating procedures when defrosting.
• Use suitable containers (e.g. ampoules, vials, etc.) for lyophilization.
• Pay attention to the noise level of the equipment (≤ 55dB) and power requirements (AC220V 25A 50HZ).
When handling samples, follow relevant laboratory safety regulations.
