Overview

Principle
The instrument automatically calculates the density or specific gravity value of the sample by measuring the weight of the sample in the air and the weight in the liquid (or Miscellaneous medium), combined with the Archimedes principle.

Steps
Take rubber/plastic as an example:
1. Place the sample on the test plate and measure its weight in the air.
2. Immerse the sample in the liquid and measure its weight in the water.
3. The instrument automatically calculates and displays the density value.
Notice
• Please ensure that the instrument is placed horizontally and preheated before use.
• Select the appropriate test mode (solid/powder/paste) according to the Sample type.
• When testing liquid samples, please use a dedicated MDY-2 model.
• Keep the test sample and test environment clean to avoid affecting Measurement accuracy.
• Regularly calibrate with standard weights to ensure instrument accuracy.
• The power supply of the instrument is 220V/50HZ, please use the matching power supply.
