Overview
PUSHEN XB-I 10 μm Mayer Rods is a laboratory bar designed for the preparation of ultra-thin film wet-film with a 10 μm wet film thickness. The product is made of stainless steel and has a long service life. It is widely used in plastics, inks and other industries.
Features
1. Very suitable for Spreader thin coatings, such as can paint and paper paint test.
2. Spreaders wet film thickness engraved at the end of XB bar.
3. For soft materials such as paper, Cardboard, foil, leather, test cardboard, Spinning & weaving products and other effects are most satisfactory.
4. The rods and wires are made of high-grade wear-resistant stainless steel.
Principle
The lab Mayer Rods uses stainless steel wires to wrap around its surface to form grooves, and the gaps between the wires are used to prepare films of different film thicknesses. Spreader the paint on the substrate to form uniform, film thickness-controlled wet-film samples, providing a reliable basis for subsequent testing.
Applications
Plastics, inks, paints, varnishes, inks, glues
Notice
* The calculation formula of wet film thickness (wet film thickness = Coating Weight g/(Density × Solid content%) per square meter) is for reference only, the actual wet film thickness is also affected by various factors such as product elongation, viscosity, Spreader rod type, etc.
