Overview
JM-VI abrasion instrument is manufactured with reference to GB/T1768 paint film wear resistance performance test parameters, and at the same time takes into account the test parameters of GB/T17657 on wood wear resistance performance, providing a multi-purpose wear resistance performance test method. It is suitable for laboratory testing the wear resistance performance of various coatings, and can also be used to test the wear resistance performance of paper, plastic, Spinning & weaving products, decorative boards, etc. The instrument adopts stepper motor drive, programmable control, and the working parameters and running status of the instrument are displayed by the LCD screen. The operation is simple, the performance is reliable, and the use is flexible and convenient.

Principle
The abrasion instrument contacts two abrasion abrasive wheels at a predetermined distance with the specimen template mounted on the horizontal turntable, and makes the central axis of the two abrasive wheels not in the same plane as the central axis of the turntable. When the turntable swirl/spin, the left abrasive wheels generate friction from the outside to the center of the sample surface, and the right abrasive wheels generate friction from the center of the sample surface to the outside, forming a series of mesh-shaped intersecting circular friction marks on the sample surface. This arrangement causes friction in all directions of the sample surface, avoiding obvious directional defects and making the abrasion evaluation more objective.

Steps
1. Select the corresponding turntable assembly and abrasive wheels configuration according to the test requirements
2. Install the specimen sample on the horizontal turntable
3. Adjust the contact distance between abrasion abrasive wheels and the test piece
4. Set working parameters through Touchscreen
5. Start the instrument for testing
6. Observe the running status of the LCD display
7. Evaluate abrasion results after test completion
