Principle
The principle of ultrasonic thickness measurement is similar to the light wave Measurement principle. The ultrasonic pulse emitted by Probe reaches the back-measured object and propagates in the object, and is reflected back to Probe when it reaches the material interface. The thickness of the measured material is determined by accurate measurement of the time of ultrasonic wave propagation in the material.
