Overview
HUITAO Steel Velvet Friction Testing Machine Model CSI-457 is suitable for various non-conductive film layers, plastic product oil injection, silk screen surface wear resistance testing, as well as paint, metal products, wood products, paper products, floor tiles, plywood, natural rubber and other materials wear performance testing. The device supports the use of erasers, artificial sweat, steel velvet or alcohol to determine the wear resistance of the sample surface.

Principle
The testing machine drives the test rod to move back and forth through the motor, and uses the adjustable Friction Frequency and Travel to make the friction medium such as steel wool and eraser rub back and forth on the surface of the sample. The number of frictions is recorded by the counter, and the load is applied in combination with the weight to simulate the wear resistance conditions in actual use, so as to evaluate the wear resistance performance of the sample surface.

Steps
1. Adjust the friction distance to within the range of 10mm-50mm
2. Set the friction counter to the desired number of times (0-9999 times)
3. Select and install the appropriate friction medium (e.g. steel wool, eraser).
4. Adjust Friction Frequency and Round Trip Travel according to Test Requirements
5. Install the weight to apply the corresponding load
6. Start the equipment for wear resistance test
7. After the test is completed, record the results and evaluate the wear resistance performance of the sample

• Make sure the power connection of the device is stable before operation
• Avoid exceeding the range of 10mm-50mm when adjusting the friction distance
• Pay attention to weight selection when using weight to prevent overload
• Regularly check the abrasion of the friction medium and replace it in time
• Do not touch moving parts during the test to ensure safety
• When the device is not in use, please cut off the power and keep it clean
