Overview
HUITAO CSI- 1.56 million abrasion performance tester is a multi-functional wear test equipment, which can be used for wear performance testing of woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, coatings, fleece fabrics, socks, felts, non-woven fabrics, deep fabrics, yarns, cords, Plastic film, rubber, leather, paper and other materials. The test supports the sample in the drying state or immersed in water, oil and Miscellaneous liquids.
Features
1. Multifunctional test: It can carry out a variety of wear resistance tests such as flat grinding, curved grinding, edge grinding, folding grinding and anti-blooming flowers, closing edges and fleece.
2. Wide range of applicable materials: support woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, coated fabrics, fleece fabrics, felt, non-woven fabrics, yarn, Plastic film, rubber, leather, paper and other materials.
3. Flexible test environment: Specimens can be tested in the drying state or immersed in water, oil and Miscellaneous liquids.
4. Adjustable parameters: Provides adjustable speed range and standardized running range.
Principle
The tester fixates the specimen through a specific clamping device and drives the grinding head (such as sandpaper or standard friction medium) at a set pressure (such as 62kPa air pressure) at a specified speed (such as 120 +/- 15 times/minute) and a moving range (such as 25mm) to reciprocate or swirl/spin friction on the surface of the specimen, simulating the actual use of the abrasion process, so as to evaluate the wear resistance of the material performance.
Applications
Spinning & weaving inspection, Plastic film testing, Rubber evaluation, Leather product inspection, paper performance analysis, Nonwovens mass evaluation, Yarn rope wear test
Standards
AATCC 119-04、AATCC 120-04、ASTM D3514-05、ASTM D3885-04、ASTM D3886-07、JISL1096、JISL1018、ASTMD1175、AATCC119.120、FZ/T01122、FZ/T01123-2014
Steps
1. Prepare the specimen according to the test criteria.
2. Install the specimen in the clamping ring and lock it tightly.
3. Select and install the appropriate grinding head or friction medium.
4. Set test parameters such as speed, frequency, or pressure.
5. Start the equipment and start the wear resistance test.
6. After the test, remove the sample and evaluate the results (e.g. observe the degree of abrasion, weight loss, etc.).
Notice
• Power supply voltage (120/230 V) matches the local power supply before operation.
Make sure the air pressure is accurately set to 62kPa (9psi).
The sample should be firmly fixed in the clamping ring to prevent loosening during the test.
When testing different materials, the appropriate grinding head and test conditions should be selected according to the corresponding standards.
• Do not touch moving parts during the operation of the equipment.
• Maintain equipment regularly to ensure its accuracy and normal operation.
