Overview
HUITAO brand CSI-110 hundred grid cross scratch resistance tester is a special instrument for scratch resistance detection of automotive interior materials. It integrates five-finger scratch method, hundred grid method, plastic scratch finger scratch method three test standards, suitable for plastics, rubber, leather, fabric, coating materials, non-coating materials and Miscellaneous composites.
Features
1. The instrument is composed of a motor drive mechanism, a scraping component, and a sample holding fixture.
2. The scraping assembly includes a scraping bracket, a scraping finger, a scraping finger positioning sleeve, a pressurizing device (weight and weight support rod), etc.
3. The instrument can be freely installed, replaced, and disassembled with different specifications of scraping fingers, capable of performing uniform one-way linear scraping movements under different loads.
4. The use of embedded systems and man-machine interface operations to automate the test process, and the use of precision servo motors and ball screw drives play a decisive role in the control of scratching speed under relevant standards.
5. Use tungsten carbide material as scraping finger to increase the applicable life of the instrument.
6. Using aluminum alloy and stainless steel material, Appearance is simple, light and corrosion resistant.
Principle
This test method is used to test the ability of the surface material to resist damage caused by scraping fingers. According to the nails or Miscellaneous hard objects that may come into contact with the material during use, the scraping fingers of different materials are used to act on the surface of the sample according to the specified direction, Travel, speed, and a certain pressure. The scraping head and the sample move relative to each other to produce a one-way, non-reciprocating straight scraping trajectory, and the scratches are kept parallel. The final evaluation is the scratch sensory level of the material, the color difference between the scraped area and the unscraped area, or the minimum scratch force when the sample surface is damaged.
Applications
Automotive interior materials, plastics, rubber, leather, fabrics, coatings, non-coatings, composites
Standards
GM 14688 (A method), GM 14688 (B method), PV 3952-3951-3954-3974-3572 Volkswagen standard, GB/T 9286-97/ISO 2409, GB/T 9279-2007/ISO 1518:1992, Q/SQR S1-16-2016 Chery standard, Q/SQR T1-64 Chery standard
Steps
1. Install and fix the sample to the clamping device.
2. Select and install the appropriate size scraping finger.
3. Set Scratch Travel, Speed and Pressure parameters.
4. Start the instrument for a one-way linear scratch test.
5. Observe and evaluate the scratch sensory level, color difference or minimum scratch force.
Notice
• Power supply voltage AC220V +/- 10%, 50Hz.
• Scratch Travel range is controlled at 10-200mm, speed range is 10-200mm/s.
• Use tungsten carbide, sapphire or carbide scraper head with a diameter of 0.5mm, 0.75mm, 1mm, 3mm, 5mm, 7mm.
• The pressurized weight and the total weight of the scraping component can be selected from 5N, 10N, 15N, and the mass error does not exceed 1%.
• Scratches should be kept parallel during testing to avoid reciprocating motion.
