Overview
HUITAO CSI-109 Multifunctional Scratch Tester is a professional instrument used to detect Abrasion Resistance of smooth and textured plastic trims in the interior and exterior trims of automobiles. It is suitable for scratch resistance detection of plastics, rubber, leather, fabrics, coatings, non-coated materials and Miscellaneous composites. It integrates five-finger/plastic finger scratch test and 100-grid scratch test. It shares a reciprocating movement platform and supports custom motion parameters.
Features
1. Integrated five-finger scraping method, hundred grid method and plastic scraping method three test standards.
2. Use tungsten carbide scraper head to accurately detect surface abrasion.
3. Provide a variety of pressurized weight options, the total weight range from 2N to 20N, the mass error does not exceed 1%.
4. Travel and speed adjustable, Travel range 10-200mm, speed range 10-200mm/s.
5. Use polymethyl methacrylate (MMA) (PMMA) plastic scraping finger, diameter 16mm, thickness 1mm, edge radius 0.5mm, Hardness shore D8528.
Principle
The instrument produces a one-way, non-reciprocating straight-line scratch track by moving the scraper head relative to the sample. Using scraping fingers of different materials (such as metal or plastic), acting on the surface of the sample with a certain pressure according to the specified direction, Travel and speed, to test the ability of the material to resist damage caused by scraping fingers.
Applications
Automotive interior materials, plastics, rubber, leather, fabrics, coatings, non-coatings, composites
Standards
GB/T 2918, GB/T 6151, GB/T 8424.3, PV3952, GS97034, GS 97034-2, FORD FLTM BN 108-13, GMW 14698 (B method), GM 14688 (A method), GM 14688 (B method), PV 3952--3951, FORD FLTM BN 108-13, GMW 14698 (B method), FORD BO-162-01, GMN 3943, Nissan NES M0159
Steps
1. Select the scraping head and weight according to the test criteria.
2. Set Movement Travel, Speed and Reciprocating Period.
3. Fix the sample on the reciprocating platform.
4. Start the instrument for scratch test.
5. Observe and record the scratch results.
Notice
• Power supply voltage AC220V +/- 10% 50Hz.
• Check the integrity of the scraping head and weight before use.
• Select the appropriate scraping method and parameters according to the type of material.
• Test accuracy by calibrating instruments regularly.
