Overview
HUITAO CSI-2632 Scratch Resistance Tester is an instrument used to test the scratch resistance performance of rigid organic materials, paint adhesives, powder coatings, anodic oxidation materials, soft metals, plastics and Glasses. The instrument consists of an equilibrate rod, a fixed weight, an adjustable weight, and a sample-carrying disc. By adjusting the height of the equilibrate rod and the Nominal Mass, an arc score is formed on the surface of the specimen to evaluate the material performance.

Principle
Place the specimen in the groove of the thickness control device and adjust the position of the nut. Install the specimen on the swirl/spin circular platform and fix it with a pressing block and a nut. Install the scraping head in the corresponding groove in the middle of the weighing. swirl/spin equilibrate rod so that the head of the scraping head is just in contact with the specimen. Start the instrument, the disc moves, and the scraping head leaves scratches on the surface of the specimen.

Steps
1. Adjust the height of the equilibrating rod according to the thickness of the sample, so that the equilibrating rod remains horizontal after installing the scraper head and the sample
2. Place the sample in the groove of the thickness control device and adjust the position of the nut
3. Install the specimen on a swirling/spinning circular platform and fix it with briquettes and nuts
4. Install the scraper head in the corresponding groove in the middle of the scale
5. swirling/spinning equilibrating rod, so that the head of the scraper is just in contact with the sample
6. Move to adjust the weight to control the weight on the sample
7. Start the instrument, the disc swirls/spins counterclockwise, and the scratch head leaves an arc score on the surface of the sample
