Overview
HUITAO CSI-454S Preset Friction Color fastness tester is used for cotton, chemical fiber, blended and other colored fabrics and leather to rub against dry/wet cotton cloth respectively, and then use the stained gray card to evaluate the discoloration of the sample and the staining of the white cotton cloth, so as to obtain the dry/wet friction performance of the fabric.

Principle
The instrument reciprocates the friction of the sample through the friction head to simulate the friction in actual use, and then uses the stained gray card to evaluate the discoloration of the sample and the staining degree of the white cotton cloth, so as to determine the friction resistance of the fabric.

Steps
1. Sample preparation: The sample and the standard friction small white cloth need to be humidified in a constant temperature and humidity environment; when the sample has a variety of Colors, all Colors should be rubbed; if the various Color areas are large enough to be sampled separately; cut the sample for dry friction and wet friction; if the front and back sides of the sample are made of different materials and Colors, the front and back sides should be tested; dry and wet friction fastness cannot be in the same part of the sample, sexual repeability.
2. Dry friction: fix the sample flat on the sandpaper-covered friction instrument; fix the standard friction cloth on the friction head; ensure that the sample does not slip or wrinkle during friction; the motor shakes the friction arm 10 times at a rate of one per second; remove the standard friction cloth rating.
3. Wet friction: completely soak the standard friction small white cloth in distillation water; take it out and squeeze it in the filter paper; the rest of the steps are the same as dry friction.
4. Result processing: Gently stick the loose fluff on the friction white cloth with transparent glue; use three layers of unused friction white cloth to pad under the friction white cloth to be evaluated, and evaluate the staining grade with reference to the standard staining gray card.
5. Test report: report the standard method; report the dry friction and wet friction results separately; if the sample has been pretreated or post-treated, report the treatment method.
Notice
• Lubricating oil should be applied to the connection of the transmission mechanism frequently to ensure the smooth rotation of the transmission mechanism.
• Lubricant like butter in the stainless steel groove on the side of the base.
The counter is located on the upper part of the instrument and is easily damaged. It should be used to avoid damage caused by heavy object collisions.
• The stainless steel groove and stainless steel plate on the base are all glued, and the inspection results before leaving the factory are firm and reliable, but they may still be peeling by heavy objects or sharp objects. Operators should pay attention.
• The friction head is a plastic product, which has been sanded before leaving the factory, and there is no gap between it and the stainless steel plate. The friction head should not be rubbed directly with the sandpaper, which is easy to make the friction head abrasion and no longer flat. There is a large gap with the steel plate, so that the sample is affected by uneven pressure. Test results.
