Overview
HUITAO Akron Wear resistance tester (model: CSI-A00) is used to determine the wear resistance performance of vulcanized rubber. The device rubs the sample with abrasive wheels at a specific inclination angle and load to determine the abrasion volume of the sample within a certain mileage, in line with GB/T1689 "Determination of the wear resistance performance of vulcanized rubber" and other standards.
Features
1. With two standard test modes, the specimen shaft Rotation speed can support GB standard (76 +/- 2 rpm) and BS standard (250 +/- 5 rpm).
2. The sample tilt angle can be adjusted from 0 ° to 45 ° to meet different test requirements.
3. Adopt precision load control with a load of 26.7 +/- 0.2 N to ensure accurate test results.
4. Equipped with High Accuracy Counter, counting range 0-999,999, easy to record friction mileage.
5. The equipment is compact, Dimension is 58 × 52 × 46 cm (length × width × height), weight about 60 kg.
Principle
The Working Principle of this testing machine is to install a rubber specimen of a specific specification on the specimen shaft, so that it contacts and moves relative to the abrasive wheels of a specified particle size at a set inclination angle and a constant load. Rotation speed swirl/spin of the specimen shaft and the grinding wheel shaft is driven by the motor to simulate the friction abrasion process. Finally, the wear resistance of the rubber material is assessed by measuring the volume lost by the specimen after a set number of friction revolutions (mileage).
Applications
Determination of wear resistance of vulcanized rubber
Standards
GB/T 1689、BS 903、JIS K6264、CNS 734
Steps
1. Rotation speed of the sample shaft is set according to the test standard (GB or BS).
2. Install the rubber specimen that meets the specifications on the specimen shaft.
3. Adjust the inclination angle between the sample and the abrasive wheels to the desired value (0 °~ 45 °).
4. Apply a load of 26.7 +/- 0.2 N to the specimen.
Install and confirm the condition of abrasive wheels (diameter 150 mm, thickness 25 mm, particle size 36 #aluminum oxide).
6. Set the wheel shaft Rotation speed to 34 +/- 1 rpm.
7. Zero the counter and start the machine to start testing.
8. After the test reaches the predetermined mileage (counter reading), stop the machine and remove the sample.
9. measurement and calculation of the abrasion volume of the sample.
Notice
• Power supply voltage is AC 220V 50Hz before use.
• Specimen specifications must strictly meet the requirements: outer diameter 63.5 mm, inner diameter 12.7 mm, thickness 12.7 mm, length 220 mm, Hardness 60~ 70.
• Ensure the correct size of abrasive wheels: diameter 150 mm, thickness 25 mm, center hole diameter 32 mm, abrasive aluminum oxide, particle size 36 #.
• Carefully calibrate the inclination angle and load value before testing to ensure test accuracy.
During the operation of the equipment, please pay attention to safety and avoid touching moving parts.
• Maintain equipment regularly, keep it clean, and ensure that all moving parts are well lubricated.
