Overview
The Defelsko DOLLY50 kit is an important accessory for the PosiTestAT pull adhesion instrument. Its size is 50mm and the starting pressure is 0.4MPa. The accessory is available in a variety of different sizes to suit different pull strength requirements.
Features
1. Important accessories specially designed for PosiTestAT pull adhesion instrument.
2. Provide a variety of size options to meet different drawing strength testing requirements.
3.50Mm kit size, starting pressure as low as 0.4MPa.
4. According to the kit size, corresponding to different maximum drawing pressure range.
Principle
As an accessory to the PosiTestAT pullout adhesion meter, the kit is gluing the surface of the coating or material under test through the gluing agent. During adhesion testing, the instrument applies a vertical pull force through the kit until the coating or material is detached from the substrate, thereby measuring its adhesion strength.
Applications
Coating adhesion test, material adhesion strength test
Standards
ASTM D4541、ISO 4624
Steps
1. Choose the appropriate kit size according to the expected pull strength.
2. Use a gluing agent to firmly adhere the DOLLY50 kit to the surface of the coating to be tested.
3. After the gluing agent is completely cured, connect the PosiTestAT adhesion instrument to the kit.
4. Start the instrument and apply the pulling force smoothly until the coating or bonding fails.
5. Record the maximum pulling force value displayed by the instrument.
Notice
* When selecting the kit size, refer to the drawing strength table to ensure that its range covers the expected test strength.
* Before gluing kit, make sure the tested surface is clean, drying and flat.
* Must wait for the gluing agent to be completely cured before performing a pull test to ensure reliable bonding.
When applying pull-out force, it should be kept stable and vertical to avoid lateral forces affecting the test results.
* After the test, the gluing agent remaining on the surface of the kit should be properly cleaned.
* Do not exceed the maximum drawing pressure specified for the corresponding kit size to avoid damage to accessories or instruments.
