Overview
SKYEAGLEE SK/MIC-800-CH4-Y/100% Portable Methane Detector is a professional Handheld Gas detection device using pump suction sampling and catalytic combustion Sensor principle. The instrument is equipped with EFM ultra-low power 32-bit ARM processor, combined with imported High Accuracy Sensor, high stability circuit processing and full color TFT display, can quickly, accurately and stably detect methane gas concentration in the environment, and has various functions such as alarm, Data storage and analysis.

Principle
The detector uses a pump-suction Sampling method, and the environment gas is sucked into the instrument through a built-in micro-sampling pump. The gas contacts the imported catalytic combustion Sensor at the core of the instrument, which converts the methane concentration signal into an electrical signal. The electrical signal is amplified by a High Accuracy, Low Temperature Drift amplifier in two stages, and then processed by a highly stable power processing circuit. Finally, the 32-bit ARM processor calculates and converts it into a concentration value, which is displayed in real time on the screen. The instrument has temperature and pressure compensation functions to achieve accurate measurement under different environment conditions.

Steps
1. Boot warm-up: Press the power button for a long time to turn it on, and the instrument will warm up for about 30 seconds.
2. Select mode: Select the normal detection mode or patrol mode in the menu as needed.
3. Set the pump speed: according to the detection environment, adjust the pumping speed of the built-in sampling pump in the low, medium and high gears.
4. Start detection: Extend the sampling tube into the area to be tested, and the instrument will display methane concentration, MAX Maximum, STEL and TWA in real time.
5. Data viewing and export: You can view historical data through the menu, or connect to a computer through the USB interface to export stored data.
6. Calibration and settings: zero-point calibration, multi-point calibration on demand, or set alarm parameters, Unit switch, etc. in the menu.
Notice
* Do not use under conditions exceeding the Operating Ambient Temperature (-30~ 50 ° C) and Humidity (10~ 95% RH without condensation).
The instrument is designed to be explosion-proof, but it is strictly forbidden to remove or replace the battery in a dangerous location.
* Regularly calibrate the Sensor to ensure detection accuracy, and the instrument has calibration expiration and failure prompt functions.
After use or when not in use for a long time, it is recommended to run the automatic gas cleaning function to keep the gas path clean.
Avoid strong impact or immersion in liquids, despite the fact that the case is waterproof and dustproof.
* When reading data or making settings, make sure you are in a safe environment.
