Overview
The EC-6 is a single-stroke pen-type Conductivity Meter with a Measurement range of 10 to 1999 µS/cm. It features a Platinum Conductivity detector with automatic temperature compensation to correct the Measured value to a reference temperature of 25 ° C. The meter supports 1 point button calibrate and is equipped with data locking and automatic shutdown functions for easy operation and energy saving.

Principle
The Conductivity Meter measures the conductivity of the solution through its platinum Conductivity detector electrode (Conductivity detector cell constant K = 1). During measurement, the meter automatically detects the solution temperature and performs automatic temperature compensation on the original conductivity Measured value according to the preset temperature compensation coefficient (2%/℃) and reference temperature (25 ℃) to obtain the conductivity result at the standard temperature.

Steps
1. Power-on preparation: Install or check Electrode to ensure that the battery is fully charged.
2. calibrate (optional): 1 point key calibrate with 1413 µS/cm calibrating fluid or Miscellaneous custom calibrating fluid.
3. Measurement: Immerse Electrode in the solution to be tested and wait for the reading to stabilize.
4. Data Lock (optional): Press the Data Lock key when needed to preserve the current Measured value.
5. Reading recording: Read conductivity and temperature values from the display.
6. Maintenance: Clean the Electrode after use, and the meter will automatically shut down after 8 minutes of no operation.
Notice
• Measurement range: The conductivity Measurement range is 10~ 1999 µS/cm, and the temperature Measurement range is 0~ 50 ℃. Do not use it under overrange conditions.
• Calibrating: It is recommended to calibrate regularly with a suitable calibrating liquid to ensure Measurement accuracy.
• Electrode maintenance: Electrode is a replaceable part, please clean it in time and keep it properly after use.
Temperature effect: Although the instrument has automatic temperature compensation function, it is still necessary to pay attention to the environment and solution temperature in the Operating temperature range of 0~ 50 ℃ during measurement.
• Power management: When not in use for a long time, the meter will automatically shut down to save battery; please check the battery status regularly.
Storage environment: Please store the instrument in a drying environment to avoid extreme temperatures.
