Overview
The BANTE SAL-7 is a Multi-Parameter pen Salinometer with integrated salinity, conductivity and temperature measurement. It features platinum Conductivity detector Electrode, supports 1 to 3 point calibrated and automatic temperature compensation, ensuring fast and reliable measurement results over the full scale.
Features
1. Multi-Parameter measurement, including salinity and conductivity modes.
2. Platinum Conductivity detector Electrode, measurement fast and reliable.
3. Support 1 to 3 point calibrated, can automatically identify Conductivity detector standard liquid.
4. With automatic temperature compensation function to ensure accurate measurement of full scale.
5. Support automatic destination locking for easy browsing and recording of stable readings.
6. The settings menu can customize the number of calibrated points, temperature units, automatic shutdown and other parameters.
7. Provide reset function, which can be restored to factory default settings with one click.
Principle
The instrument uses the Platinum Conductivity detector Electrode measurement solution conductivity and calculates the salinity value based on the relationship between conductivity and salinity. During the measurement process, the instrument automatically performs temperature compensation to eliminate the influence of temperature changes on conductivity measurement, thus ensuring the accuracy of salinity readings.
Applications
Water quality testing, aquaculture, Food processing, environment monitoring, laboratory analysis
Steps
1. Turn on and select Measurement mode (salinity or conductivity).
2. Perform 1 to 3 point conductivity calibrating as required (the instrument can automatically identify the standard solution).
3. Immerse the Electrode in the solution to be tested and stir gently.
4. Wait for the reading to stabilize, and the instrument can automatically lock the destination.
5. Record the measurement results on the display screen.
Notice
• Do not expose Electrode to air for a long time, clean it immediately after use and store it properly.
• Conductivity detector standards specified (e.g. 1413µS/cm, 12.88mS/cm, 111.8mS/cm) should be used when calibrating.
• Ensure that the measurement Ambient Temperature is within the working interval of 0~ 50 ° C.
• The instrument has an automatic shutdown function (after about 8 minutes of no operation) to save power.
When replacing batteries, use two AAA batteries.
