Overview
The BANTE PHB-4 is a Portable pH Meter for measurement of pH, mV and temperature parameters. The instrument features Chinese screen prompts, supports 1 to 3 point calibrating, and features automatic identification of USA/NIST standard buffers, automatic Electrode diagnostics, and automatic temperature compensation for rapid on-site testing.
Features
1 to 3 point pH calibrated
2. Chinese screen prompts are easy to operate
3. Automatic recognition of USA/NIST standard buffer
4. Automatic Electrode Diagnostic Function Helps Determine Electrode Status
5. Automatic temperature compensation ensures full scale measurement accuracy
6. Automatic end point locking retains stable reading
7. Customizable pH buffer group, number of calibrating points, temperature unit, etc
8. Reset function to restore factory default settings
9. Extended memory to store 100 sets of data
10. USB Communication interface for data transmission and power connection
Principle
The instrument is connected to pH Electrode via a BNC interface. Electrode senses the concentration of hydrogen ions in the sample and converts it into an electrical signal. The built-in microprocessor processes the signal, combines the temperature sensor data for automatic temperature compensation, and finally displays the pH, mV or temperature Measured value on the LCD screen. Automatic end point locking function captures stable readings for easy recording.
Applications
Water quality testing, environment monitoring, laboratory analysis, industrial production process control, education and research
Standards
USA buffer standard, NIST buffer standard
Steps
1. Install the battery or connect the Power Adapter
2. Connect the pH Electrode to the instrument via the BNC interface
3. Measurement mode (pH/mV/temperature)
4. Enter the settings menu to adjust the parameters as needed
5. Use standard buffer for 1 to 3 point calibrating
6. Electrode immersion in the sample to be tested
7. Record or store data after waiting for the reading to stabilize
8. Transfer stored data via USB interface
Notice
• Electrode is nondestructive before use
• Fresh standard buffer should be used when calibrating
• Electrode measurement should be cleaned between different samples
• Avoid Electrode Exposure to Air for a Long Time
Electrode diagnostics regularly to confirm performance
• Turn off the power when not in use for a long time
Verify that the reading has stabilized before storing the data
• Please use the specified model of Power Adapter
