Overview
Leneta Form 2C Opacity Chart is a sealed Opacity Chart designed for Coating hiding power testing. It is designed with black and white color design and measures 194 x 260mm. The product is widely used in Coatings, Rubber & Plastics, paints, pigments, Hardware, Instrument, printing, Encasement, Gloss oil, bio and other industries, and meets ASTM standards.
Features
1. Black and white half design, easy to hide power comparison test
2. Meet ASTM application standards to ensure test accuracy
3. 250 Encasements per box to meet the needs of batch testing
4. The size is 194x260mm, suitable for standard test operation
5.Weight 4.08kg, easy to carry and store
Principle
The Opacity Chart tests the covering ability of the Coating by comparing the black and white areas. When the Coating uniform Spreader is on the test paper, the hiding ratio is calculated by measuring the reflectance ratio of the black area to the white area. The formula is: hiding ratio (%) = Y black/Y white * 100%. Hiding ratio 100% means complete covering, that is, there is no difference between the black and white areas after filming.
Applications
Coatings, Rubber & plastics, paints, pigments, Hardware, Instruments, printing, Encasement, Gloss oils, Bio
Steps
1. Spreader paints and other Coatings evenly on the paints Opacity Chart according to the film steps
2. After the film is fully dried by air, use the instrument for objective evaluation
3. The hiding power value can be measured within 1 second and automatically displayed
Notice
• Use the correct lame plating method to ensure that the film thickness is appropriate, flat and uniform
• The space of the spray booth should be suitable, Illumination conditions should be good, and special attention should be paid to the lame plating mass in the inaccessible area when lame plating
• Mix the paints effectively
• Prohibit excessive polishing of the paint film, pay special attention to the corner area
