The LINSHANG LS196 glossmeter is a Portable gloss measurement instrument with 60 ° standard Measurement Angles, with a Measurement range of 0~ 1000GU. Principle
The LINSHANG LS196 glossmeter works according to the principle of specular reflection of light. The instrument's built-in Illuminant emits a beam of light at a 60 ° incidence to the surface of the sample under test, and a receiver located in the direction of specular reflection (i.e. a symmetrical 60 ° angle) receives the luminous flux reflected by the sample. The instrument calculates the ratio of the received reflected luminous flux to the luminous flux reflected from the surface of the standard plate under the same conditions, and obtains the Glossiness value of the sample, expressed in Gloss unit (GU).

Steps
1. Power on: Long press the power button to start the instrument.
2. Calibrate: Align the instrument measurement port with the center of the randomly attached Calibration plate, and press the calibrate button to calibrate.
3. Measurement: Smooth fit the instrument measurement port on the surface of the tested sample, press the measurement button for measurement.
4. Reading: Read and record the measurement results on the instrument screen.
5. Data management: You can connect to the computer through the USB interface to export measurement data.
Notice
Calibrated with a standard calibration plate before measurement to ensure measurement accuracy.
• Ensure that the tested surface is clean, drying, flat, and the size is not less than the minimum test object size required by the instrument (20mm * 10mm).
• When measuring, the measurement port of the instrument should be tightly and smoothly fitted with the measured surface to avoid tilt or gap.
• Avoid use in environments with strong magnetic fields, strong static electricity or violent vibration.
• Do not expose the instrument to high temperature, high humidity or direct sunlight for a long time.
