Overview
IMT IMT-VL01 Valli Refining Machine is an international standard equipment used in papermaking laboratories to study pulp and paper processes. The equipment cuts, crumbles, kneads, splits, swells and refines the fiber Stock through the mechanical action of the throwing knife roller and the bottom knife, and produces cell wall displacement, deformation and rupture. By adjusting the bottom knife pressure and Refining time, different Freeness/Schopper-Riegler Pulps can be obtained. It is widely used in the Refining test of various fibers. It is a key experimental equipment for papermaking production testing, quality control, process formulation and teaching and research.
Features
1. Meet international and national standards such as ISO5264-I, TAPPIT200, and GB7980.
2. Standard Stock capacity is 23 liters, suitable for 200g - 700g dry pulp (standard Refining capacity 360g).
3. Rotation speed of the knife roller is stable, and the standard Refining speed is 500 +/- 10 rpm (8.3 +/- 0.2 r/s).
4. Equipped with 32 flying knives and 7 bottom knives, the blade thickness specifications are clear.
The lever arm load is accurate, 54 +/- 1N.

Principle
The device processes the injected fiber stock through the mechanical force generated between the throwing knife roller and the bottom knife. Its functions include cutting, crushing, kneading, splitting, swelling and fiber thinning, while causing the fiber to cause displacement and deformation of the cell wall and causing the outer layer of the primary and secondary walls to rupture. By controlling the pressure applied to the bottom knife and the Refining time, the Freeness/Schopper-Riegler and other characteristics of the Pulp can be systematically changed.

Steps
1. Prepare Dry Stock (standard amount is 360g, concentration 1.57%).
Add Stock to Refining Machine, Standard Stock Capacity is 23L.
3. Manually adjust the knife distance between the throwing knife roller and the bottom knife.
4. According to the experimental requirements, set the heavy thallium pressure (lever arm load 54 +/- 1N) and Refining time.
5. Start the equipment, the flying knife roller runs at a standard speed (500 +/- 10 rpm), and the equipment automatically controls the Refining time.
6. After Refining, take out the processed Stock for analysis.
Notice
The power supply of the equipment is 380V AC, 50Hz, and it is necessary to ensure that the power supply matches.
* Standard Refining concentration is about 1.57%, Stock volume range is 200g - 700g Absolute dry pulp.
* When operating, pay attention to keep the Knife Roller Rotation speed within the range of 500 +/- 10 rpm.
* Caution is required when adjusting the knife distance and heavy thallium pressure to ensure the accuracy and Repeatability of the experimental conditions.
* Device weight up to 200kg, installation and movement to ensure that the site is stable and safe operation.
