Overview
The PUSHEN SLZ 20/30um Cube Applicator is a tooling fixture for Spreader wet-film of specified thickness on the sample. Available in two sizes, this product accurately single-column films, suitable for preparing samples with a straight-line Drying Time Recorder or comparing different formulations simultaneously. Each cubic film applicator offers 2 film thicknesses.

Applicators are provided with two wet film thickness specifications (20μm and 30μm).

4. The application width is 12.7mm, and the accuracy is +/- 2μm and +/- 3μm respectively.
Principle
The Applicator uses its precision machined edge to scrape a uniform thickness, fixed width wet-film while uniform speed skating over the surface of the sample coated with the sample. It provides two thickness specifications to meet different testing or sample preparation needs.
Applications
Spreader a wet-film with a specified thickness to determine the hiding power, color, or preparation of the sample.
Steps
1. Place the template on the platform and fix it to ensure that the template does not move when the Applicator slides through.
2. According to the required wet film thickness, select the appropriate Applicator.
3. Place the Applicator on the short side of the template close to the parallel or specified position.
4. Pour approximately 5 ml of the sample in front of the Applicator.
5. Press and hold both ends of the Applicator with your finger, slide at a constant speed of 150 mm/s, and Spreader into a wet-film of the desired thickness.
6. Wash and dry with solvent after use, and apply lubricating oil to the surface.
Notice
• Make sure the template is firmly fixed before operation to prevent slippage from affecting the film mass.
• The sliding speed needs to be maintained at a constant speed (150mm/s) to ensure uniform film thickness.
• After use, it should be cleaned and dried with solvent in time to avoid residual curing of the sample.
• After cleaning, lubricating oil should be applied to the surface to prevent rusting and prolong service life.
