Overview
The SMART SENSOR AF107 STIP-scan is an instrument for measuring water quality. It is suitable for evaluating the infiltrating effect of water purifiers on organic matter and dissolved solids, and can reflect changes in water quality. The instrument assesses water quality by measuring key parameters such as TDS (total dissolved solids), TOC (total organic carbon) and COD (chemical oxygen demand).
Features
1. Multi-Parameter testing: It can simultaneously measure three key water quality indicators of TDS, TOC and COD.
2. Measurement range: TDS Measurement range 2~ 2000mg/L, TOC and COD Measurement range 0~ 10mg/L.
3. Portable and easy to use: Compact design makes it easy to carry and use.
4. Rapid response: It can quickly detect changes in water quality and evaluate the effectiveness of water purification.
Principle
This STIP-scan detects specific components in a water sample through a Sensor. The TDS value reflects the total amount of dissolved solids in the water. The higher the TDS, the more dissolved solids. The TOC and COD values reflect the degree of pollution of organic matter in the water. The higher the TOC and COD, the more organic matter such as humus, antimicrobial agents, chemical pesticides, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, etc. in the water. The instrument converts the detected signal into a numerical display to evaluate the water quality status.
Applications
Water purifier filtrating effect evaluation, water quality change monitoring
Steps
1. Ensure that the instrument is used at an Ambient Temperature of 10~ 40 ° C.
2. Prepare the water sample to be tested, and the water sample temperature should be within the range of 5 to 45 degrees Celsius.
3. Immerse the instrument Probe into the water sample.
4. Read and record the TDS, TOC, and COD values displayed on the display.
5. Evaluate the water quality or the filtrating effect of the water purifier according to the measurement results.
Notice
• Do not use the instrument beyond the specified Ambient Temperature (10~ 40 ℃) or Water Sample Temperature range (5~ 45 ℃), so as not to affect the measurement accuracy or damage the equipment.
• When making measurements, make sure the Probe is in full contact with the water sample.
• The maximum measurement error of the instrument is 10% FS, please consider this error range when interpreting the data.
• Please use a power supply with specification 5V 1A to power the device.
• Regularly clean and maintain Probes to ensure long-term measurement accuracy.
