Overview
P11-LiCl Laboratory pH Electrode is a UK original laboratory pH Electrode designed for the measurement of pH value in non-aqueous solutions. It uses a fillable design and is suitable for pH measurement of ethanol, acetone, toluene, ether, benzene and other organic compounds.
Features
1. Glass pH Electrode filled with internal reference solution.
2. Equipped with a cylindrical pH-sensitive membrane, it can fully sense the pH value of the liquid.
3. The annular ceramic liquid junction is used to help maintain a stable reference potential.
Principle
The pH Electrode senses the hydrogen ion activity in the solution through its cylindrical Glass-sensitive film to generate the corresponding potential difference. At the same time, the internal silver/silver chloride reference system forms a stable electrochemistry connection with the external solution through the annular ceramic liquid boundary, so as to accurately measure the pH value of the solution.
Applications
Organic compounds such as ethanol, acetone, toluene, ether, benzene, etc
Steps
1. According to the measurement requirements, ensure that the Electrode internal reference solution is filled properly.
2. Connect the Electrode to the appropriate pH Meter or measurement instrument via a BNC connector.
3. Immerse the Electrode in the non-aqueous sample to be tested.
4. Wait for the reading to stabilize (95% Response in about 30 seconds) and record the ph value.
Notice
• Electrode shell is made of Glass, so be careful when operating to avoid collision or drop.
• Ensure that the Working Ambient Temperature is within the specified range of 0~ 80 ° C.
• Clean and store Electrode according to specifications after use to extend service life.
• This Electrode is designed for non-aqueous solutions, do not use in incompatible measurement environments.
