Overview
The BANTE Br-UK Bromide Ion Selective Electrode is a UK original composite Electrode that can be used without reference Electrode. Its Solid State Sensor design allows direct immersion in liquids for measurement ranging from 0.4 to 81000ppm of Bromide Ion concentration.
Features
1. Original production in the UK.
2. Composite design, no additional reference Electrode required.
3. Using Solid State Sensor, it can be directly immersed in liquid measurement.
4. The shell is made of durable epoxy resin, which is not easy to be damaged.
5. Equipped with 1-meter cable and BNC connector for easy connection.
Principle
The Electrode is based on ion-selective membrane technology, and its solid-state Sensor membrane has a specific Response to bromine ions. When the Electrode is immersed in the solution to be tested, the membrane potential changes with the change of bromine ion activity in the solution. By measuring this potential change, the concentration of bromine ions can be calculated.
Applications
Water quality analysis, environment monitoring, industrial process control, laboratory research

Steps
1. Connect the Electrode to the corresponding ion meter or potentiometer via the BNC interface.
2. Counter electrode calibrated using standard solution.
3. Immerse the Sensor portion of the Electrode in the sample solution to be tested.
4. Wait for the reading to stabilize and record the measurement results.
5. After the measurement is completed, clean the Electrode with deionized water and store it properly.
Notice
Please read the instrument manual carefully before use.
• Electrode film is in full contact with the solution when calibrating and measuring.
• Electrode film to avoid scratching or contamination.
• Electrode should be cleaned in time after measurement.
Store Electrode as required to extend its service life.
