Overview
BANTE Ca-UK is an original UK Calcium Ion Selective Electrode in the Ion Selective Electrode category. The Electrode is a composite design that can be used without reference Electrode, and its solid state Sensor construction allows direct immersion in liquids for measurement. The housing is made of rugged epoxy resin. Measurement range is 0.02 to 40100ppm.

Principle
This product is an ion-selective Electrode, and its core is a solid-state Sensor. The Sensor membrane has a selective Response to calcium ions. When the Electrode is immersed in the solution to be tested, the membrane potential changes with the change of calcium ion activity (concentration) in the solution. By measuring this potential change, the concentration of calcium ions in the solution can be determined.

Steps
1. Connect the Electrode to a compatible measuring instrument via a BNC connector.
2. Counter electrode calibrated using standard solution.
3. Immerse the Sensor part of the Electrode in the liquid to be tested.
4. Measured values are read on the instrument.

• To ensure measurement accuracy, calibrate regularly with a standard solution.
