Overview
BANTE Cu-UK is an original UK-made copper ion selective Electrode with a composite design without the need for additional reference Electrode. Its solid state Sensor can be directly immersed in liquid for measurement, Measurement range covers 0.006 to 64000ppm. Electrode housing is made of strong epoxy resin, which is not easy to break.
Features
1. Original production in the UK.
2. Composite Electrode design, no need to use a separate reference Electrode.
3. Solid State Sensor, can be directly immersed in liquid measurement.
4. Epoxy resin shell, sturdy and durable.
5. Measurement range is 0.006~ 64000ppm.
Principle
The Electrode is based on ion-selective Electrode technology, and its solid-state Sensor membrane has a selective Response to copper ions. When the Electrode is immersed in the solution to be tested, the change in membrane potential is related to the activity (concentration) of copper ions in the solution, and the content of copper ions can be determined by measuring this potential.
Applications
Water quality analysis, environment monitoring, industrial process control, laboratory research
Steps
1. Connect the Electrode via a BNC connector to the appropriate ion meter or pH/mV meter.
2. Counter electrode calibrated using standard solution.
3. Immerse the Sensor portion of the Electrode in the sample solution to be tested.
4. Wait for the reading to stabilize and record the measurement result.
5. After the measurement is completed, clean and store the Electrode as required.
Notice
Please read the instrument manual carefully before use.
• Calibrating is a key step in ensuring accurate measurement, use the appropriate standard solution.
• Avoid physical scratching or contamination of Electrode Sensor Membrane.
• When measuring samples of different concentrations, it is recommended to clean the Electrode in an intermediate concentration solution to prevent cross-contamination.
• Follow manufacturer's recommendations for routine maintenance and storage to extend Electrode life.
