Overview
The BANTE Pb-UK Lead Ion Selective Electrode is a UK original composite Ion Selective Electrode designed for the measurement of lead Ion concentration in aqueous solutions. Measurement range 0.2 to 20800ppm, with a solid state Sensor and epoxy resin housing, it is rugged and can be directly immersed in liquid for measurement.
Features
1. Imported from the UK.
2. Composite Electrode design, no additional reference Electrode is required, simplifying the measurement system.
3. Using Solid State Sensor, it can be directly immersed in liquid for measurement.
4. The shell is made of solid epoxy resin, which is not easy to be damaged.
5. Equipped with 1-meter cable and BNC connector for easy connection.
Principle
The Electrode is based on ion-selective membrane technology, and its solid-state Sensor membrane has a specific Response to lead ions. When the Electrode is immersed in the solution to be tested, the change in membrane potential is related to the activity (concentration) of lead ions in the solution. The concentration of lead ions can be calculated by measuring this potential and referring to the standard Linear dispersion.
Applications
Water quality analysis, environment monitoring, industrial process control, laboratory research
Steps
1. Connect the Electrode via a BNC connector to the appropriate ion meter or pH/mV meter.
2. Counter electrode calibrate with standard lead ion solution to establish concentration-potential standard Linear dispersion.
3. Electrode with deionized water and blot dry with soft paper.
4. Immerse the Electrode in the sample solution to be tested to ensure that the Sensor membrane is fully immersed.
5. Wait for the reading to stabilize and read or record the Measured value on the instrument.
6. After measurement, clean Electrode and store as required.
Notice
Please read the instrument manual carefully before use.
• Electrode Solid State Sensor Membrane needs to be kept clean to avoid scratches or contamination.
• When calibrating and measuring, ensure that the temperature of the standard solution and the sample solution is consistent to obtain accurate results.
• Do not soak Electrode in strong acid, alkali or solution containing organic solvent for a long time.
• Electrode should be cleaned and properly stored as required after use.
• Counter electrodes are regularly calibrated to ensure measurement accuracy.
• Electrode cables and connectors should avoid excessive bending and pulling.
