Overview
BANTE S-UK Sulfur Ion Selective Electrode is a composite Electrode imported from the UK for the measurement of sulfur Ion concentration in aqueous solutions. Measurement range is wide, 0.003 to 32000ppm, using solid state Sensor and epoxy resin housing design, durable.
Features
1. Imported from the UK.
2. Composite Electrode design, no additional reference Electrode is required.
3. Solid State Sensor, can be directly immersed in liquid for measurement.
4. Epoxy resin shell, strong and not easy to break.
Principle
The Electrode is based on ion-selective membrane technology and its solid-state Sensor has a selective Response to sulfur ions in solution. When the Electrode is immersed in the solution under test, the change in membrane potential is proportional to the logarithm of sulfur ion activity, and the concentration of sulfur ions can be calculated by measuring this potential and comparing it with a standard Linear dispersion.
Applications
Water quality analysis, environment monitoring, industrial process control, laboratory research
Steps
1. Connect the Electrode to a compatible ion meter or pH/mV meter via the BNC interface.
2. Counter electrode calibrated using standard sulfur ion solution.
3. Immerse the Electrode in the sample solution to be tested to ensure that the Sensor is fully immersed.
4. Wait for the reading to stabilize and record the measurement result.
5. After the measurement is completed, clean the Electrode with deionized water and store it properly.
Notice
Please read the instrument manual carefully before use.
• When calibrating and measuring, ensure that the standard solution is consistent with the sample temperature.
• Electrode film surface to avoid scratching or contamination.
• Electrode should be cleaned in time after measurement.
Store Electrode as required to extend its service life.
• Electrode Measurement range is 0.003~ 32000ppm, beyond the range may affect the measurement accuracy.
