Overview
The PosiTector GLS60-3 glossmeter is a Handheld electronic instrument for the measurement of mirror reflectance and Glossiness of surfaces. It consists of a body (standard or advanced) and a Probe and is suitable for field or shop use.

Principle
The glossmeter evaluates Glossiness by measuring the specular reflectance of the surface, using Illuminants and detectors at specific angles such as 60 ° for accurate readings. Diagnostics and calibrating are performed automatically when powered on to ensure measurement accuracy.

Steps
1. Boot: The instrument automatically performs diagnosis and calibration.
2. Select Measurement mode: such as Normal mode or Statistical mode.
3. Probe placed on the surface to be measured for measurement.
4. View readings: Glossiness values, statistics, etc. are displayed on the screen.
5. Store data: Measured values are automatically saved with date and timestamp.
6. Use HiLo alerts for pass/fail checks.
7. Transfer data via USB or wireless.
