Principle
Thickness gauge by pressing the handle to drive the probe in contact with the surface of the object to be measured, using the internal mechanical transmission structure to amplify the tiny displacement of the probe, and indicates the corresponding thickness value by the pointer on the dial, so as to achieve accurate measurement.

Steps
1. Make sure the Thickness gauge is in its initial state (pointer zero or known reference).
2. Align the probe and touch the surface of the object.
3. Press the handle smoothly so that the probe is in full contact with the object under test.
4. Keep it stable and read the thickness value indicated by the hands on the dial.
5. For metric-to-metric conversion, press the transfer switch.
6. Release the handle and reset the probe for the next cycle measurement.
