Overview
The SYATEK CHB10120QT (0-10x120) Large Throat Depth is a measurement tool with a Measurement range of 0 to 10 mm and a press handle design with a large throat depth of 120 mm for easy measurement in special positions such as deep holes or grooves. The head is made of aluminum and the handle is made of cast iron to ensure the durability of the tool.
Features
1. Measurement range 0~ 10mm, to meet the needs of conventional size measurement.
2. Measurement accuracy is high, error ≤ +/- 0.02mm.
3. Graduation is 0.01mm, and the reading is clear and accurate.
4. The probe is designed with round double ball head to realize ball head point-to-point contact measurement.
5. Throat depth of 120mm, suitable for deep measurement occasions.
6. Using aluminum case head and cast iron handle, the structure is sturdy and durable.
7. Equipped with a push-type handle, easy to operate.
Principle
The dial meter makes point-to-point contact with the surface of the workpiece to be measured through the round double ball head of the probe. When the probe produces a small displacement due to the size change of the workpiece, it drives the precision gear transmission mechanism in the meter, which finally amplifies and converts the displacement into the swirl/spin angle of the pointer on the dial, thereby displaying an accurate dimensional reading on the dial.
Applications
Machining, mold manufacturing, parts inspection, equipment maintenance, mass inspection
Steps
1. Clean the surface of the workpiece under test and the probe.
2. Fix the dial gauge to the stabilizing base through a clamp or magnetic gauge.
3. Adjust the position of the dial table so that the round double ball head of the probe gently touches the measured point.
4. Press the handle to stabilize the contact between the probe and the workpiece, and pre-press a section of Travel (usually make the pointer turn more than half a turn).
5. Swirl/spin the outer ring of the dial so that the "0" scale is aligned with the pointer to complete the zero.
6. Perform measurement and read the scale value indicated by the pointer, which is the size change.
7. After the measurement is completed, release the pressing handle and remove the dial meter.
Notice
Check whether the dial indicator pointer is flexible and whether the probe is loose before use.
* The probe should be perpendicular to the measured surface during measurement to ensure point-to-point contact.
* Avoid Violent Impact or Drop to prevent damage to the internal precision mechanism.
* Clean tools after use and store in a drying, non-corrosive gas environment.
* Periodically calibrated to ensure Measurement accuracy.
