Overview
The Digipol-P610 fully automatic digital Polarimeter is a precision instrument under the JIAHANG brand for measuring the optical rotation of substances. By measuring the optical rotation, the instrument can be used to analyze and determine key parameters such as specific rotation, international sugar content, concentration and purity of substances. It is widely used in petroleum, food, chemical, flavor, fragrance, sugar and other industries as well as related universities and research institutes.

Principle
The instrument works based on the principle of optical rotation. When polarized light passes through a solution of the substance to be tested with Optical inspection activity, its vibration plane will swirl/spin, and the angle of swirl/spin is the optical rotation. The instrument emits light of a specific wavelength (589.3nm) through the built-in LED cold Illuminant. After passing through the Optical inspection system, the polarization surface change after the light passes through the sample is detected, so that the optical rotation of the sample can be accurately calculated, and can be further converted into parameters such as specific rotation, concentration or sugar content according to the preset formula.

Steps
1. Turn on and warm up to ensure the stability of the instrument.
2. According to the measurement requirements, select the corresponding Measurement mode (such as optical rotation, specific rotation, concentration, sugar content) on the Touchscreen.
3. Measurement parameters, such as temperature (the instrument supports Paltier temperature control), measurement times (single, multiple or continuous), etc.
4. Load the sample to be tested into a suitable testtube (e.g. standard 200mm or 100mm testtube, or optional temperature control tube).
5. Place the testtube correctly into the sample chamber.
6. Start measurement, the instrument automatically completes data collection and calculation.
7. View, save or export measurement results via a connection interface (e.g. USB, RS232).
8. After the measurement, clean the sample room and testtube.
Notice
• The instrument should be placed in a stable, vibration-free environment that avoids direct sunlight and strong electromagnetic interference.
• Power supply voltage meets requirements (220V +/- 22V, 50Hz +/- 1Hz) before use.
• Select the appropriate testtube length and type (e.g. normal or temperature-controlled) according to the sample characteristics.
• The sample solution should be clear and transparent, without suspended solids or bubbles, so as not to affect the Measurement accuracy.
• Please follow user management rights when operating, and do not modify key settings or data without authorization.
• Regularly calibrate the instrument to ensure the accuracy of the measurement results.
• When cleaning instruments and testtubes, use a soft dry cloth and avoid the use of corrosion solvents.
• The instrument is heavy (Net weight 28kg), so pay attention to safety when moving.
• Optional functions (such as Cloud as a Service, MD5 code verification, custom formulas) need to be used according to the actual configuration.
