Overview
SYATEK ZZQF1120TC H-Type Pointer Thousand Thickness gauge is a measurement tool for precise measurement of material thickness. Measurement range from 0 to 1 mm, Measurement accuracy is high, suitable for applications with strict thickness requirements.
Features
1. Measurement accuracy is high, up to ≤ 0.005mm.
2. The ceramic probe is used, with a diameter of φ 10mm, which is wear-resistant and not easy to scratch the surface of the tested object.
3. Graduation is 0.001mm, with fine readings.
4. Measurement pressure ≤ 1.5N, small measurement force, suitable for soft or easily deformed materials.
5. Throat depth up to 120mm, allowing measurement of thickness at deeper or internal locations.
Principle
The Thickness gauge adopts the principle of mechanical lever or gear transmission to amplify the tiny displacement of the probe and indicate it on the dial through the pointer. When the probe touches the surface of the object to be measured, the displacement generated is converted by the internal mechanism and the pointer is deflected to directly read the thickness value.
Applications
Plastic film, paper, metal sheet, coatings, Spinning & weaving products and other materials for thickness measurement.
Steps
1. Check the Thickness gauge to make sure the pointer is zero.
2. Place the test object evenly between the anvil and the probe.
3. Gently close the probe so that it touches the surface of the test object.
4. After the pointer is stable, read the thickness value from the dial.
5. After the measurement is completed, open the probe and take out the tested object.
Notice
• Zero point calibrating is required before use.
• Keep the probe perpendicular to the measured surface during measurement.
• Avoid use in dusty and vibrating environments.
• Measurement force should be gentle and uniform to avoid Impact.
• Clean the probe after use and store it in a drying place.
