Overview
YOKE FP640 Flame photometer is a small, delicate and beautiful analytical instrument belonging to the FP series. It uses liquefied petroleum gas as fuel, which is easy to use, and has a flameout protection function, which is safe and reliable in performance. The instrument is mainly used for the detection of potassium and sodium elements, and has the detection function of lithium and calcium. It has the characteristics of small sample volume and high Sensitivity.
Features
1. Appearance is small, exquisite and beautiful.
2. Dual-channel LED digital display, 4-digit digital display per channel, clear reading.
3. Unique ignition gas path, push-button automatic ignition, fast and reliable ignition.
4. Potassium and sodium can be detected simultaneously, with the detection function of lithium calcium.
5. Silicon Photocell, photovoltaic cell detection, accurate and stable measurement results.
6. Small sample size, High Sensitivity.
7. Using liquefied petroleum gas as fuel, easy to use.
8. With flameout protection function, the performance is safe and reliable.
Principle
The Flame photometer works based on the principle of atomic emission spectroscopy (AES). After the sample solution is atomized, it enters the flame, and the atoms of the elements to be tested (such as potassium and sodium) are excited in the flame, emitting characteristic spectral lines of specific wavelengths. The instrument splits light through an Interference filter to separate the characteristic spectral lines of the elements to be tested, and is received by a silicon Photocell and photovoltaic cell Detector to convert the optical signal into an electrical signal, and finally displays the measurement result through an LED digital tube.
Steps
1. Connect and check the gas circuit to ensure the normal supply of liquefied petroleum gas.
2. Turn on the instrument power and warm up the instrument.
3. Linear dispersion calibration using standard solution (using linear method).
4. Introduce the sample solution to be tested into the Nebulizer.
5. Press the ignition button to automatically ignite.
6. After the flame stabilizes, the instrument automatically measures and displays potassium and sodium concentration readings.
7. After the measurement is completed, turn off the flame and turn off the gas and power according to the procedure.
Notice
* The instrument should be used in the environment temperature of 10~ 35 ℃.
Please ensure that the gas connection is correct and free of leakage before use.
Please pay attention to safety during ignition and use. Although the instrument has a flameout protection function, the operator must be present.
Regular use of standard solution calibrating instruments to ensure measurement accuracy.
* Keep Nebulizer and combustion head clean to avoid clogging.
Please use compliant liquefied petroleum gas as fuel.
