Overview
QIWEI WSB-2Y whiteness meter is a Benchtop fluorescence whiteness meter, using LCD digital display design, Measurement range 0~ 199.9, measurement aperture φ 30, mainly used for measurement of whiteness value of objects or powders, and can measure the Opacity of thin sheet materials. The instrument specially adds the function of fluorescence whiteness, which can analyze whether the sample to be tested contains Fluorescent Whitening Agent and measure the whiteness. It is often used in the detection work of Quality control department or scientific research department.
Features
1. LCD digital display design, intuitive display of measurement results
2. Measurement range, covering 0~ 199.9
3. With fluorescent whiteness function, can detect Fluorescent Whitening Agent
4. LED Illuminant, the test conditions are 45/0
5. The measurement aperture is φ 30mm, with strong applicability
6. Repeatability is high, ≤ 0.3
7. Small zero drift, ≤ 0.2/10 min
Principle
The QIWEI WSB-2Y whiteness meter is composed of Illuminant, Optical inspection system, detection system, data processing and display system. The instrument adopts the principle of blue light whiteness R457 to illuminate the sample through LED Illuminant, the Optical inspection system collects the reflected light, and the detection system receives the signal. After the data processing system analyzes and calculates, the whiteness value and the fluorescent whiteness result are displayed on the LCD liquid crystal display.
Applications
Coating paints, plastics, flour, white cement, ceramics, paper, starch, salt
Steps
1. Connect the AC 220V/50Hz power supply
2. Operating temperature in the range of 5~ 35 ℃
3. Place the sample in the Measuring location
4. Adjust the instrument to align the measurement aperture with the sample
5. Start the measurement program
6. Read the whiteness value or fluorescent whiteness value displayed on the LCD liquid crystal display
7. Record measurement results
Notice
• Ambient Temperature should be kept within 5~ 35 ℃
• relative humidity must not exceed 85% RH
• Preheat the instrument before use to ensure measurement accuracy
• Avoid use in strong electromagnetic interference environments
Periodically calibrate instruments to reduce drift effects
• Ensure that the sample surface is clean and flat during measurement
• Clean the measurement aperture in time after use
