Overview
The YOKE P301 pen acidity meter is an ultra-small, ultra-thin, portable pH measuring instrument with a size of 148 × 29 × 14mm and an Electrode diameter of 10mm. It can easily determine the pH value in small-volume samples such as testtubes. It is designed to meet the IP57 waterproof rating and is equipped with a meter box containing a correction solution, Electrode immersion liquid and spare battery for easy and reliable use.
Features
1. Ultra-small and ultra-thin shape design: size 148 × 29 × 14mm, Electrode diameter 10mm, can measure the ph value in the testtube.
2. Intelligent functions: with automatic correction, automatic shutdown, low voltage alarm and Electrode failure reminder.
3. Reliable waterproof design: meets IP57 waterproof rating.
4. Maintainable design: Electrode replacement is supported, and the instrument box is equipped with correction solution, Electrode soaking solution and spare battery.
5. Long battery life: With two CR2032 lithium batteries, it can be used continuously for more than 100 hours.
Principle
The pen acidity meter senses the activity of hydrogen ions in the solution through its built-in pH-sensitive Electrode (Glass electrode) and converts it into the corresponding potential difference. The internal circuit of the instrument measures and processes this potential difference, combined with the automatic temperature compensation function (compensation range 0~ 99.9 ° C), and finally displays the pH value of the solution directly on the display screen. The user can ensure the measurement accuracy with 1 to 3 point Automatic calibration (using pH4.00, 6.86, 9.18 standard buffer).
Applications
Laboratory testtube sample testing, on-site rapid water quality analysis, educational experiments, aquaculture, agricultural soil testing, Food processing process monitoring
Standards
IP57 Protection Ratings
Steps
1. Open the meter and remove the Electrode protective cover.
2. Rinse Electrode with distillation or deionized water and gently blot dry with filter paper.
3. Immerse the Electrode in the solution to be tested and shake it gently to ensure that the Electrode bubble is in full contact with the solution.
4. Wait for the reading to stabilize and read the ph value on the display.
5. After the measurement is completed, rinse the Electrode with distillation water and soak it in the Electrode soaking solution according to the storage requirements.
6. If you need to calibrate, enter the calibrate mode and immerse the Electrode in the corresponding standard buffer (such as pH 4.00, 6.86, 9.18) for Automatic calibration.
Notice
Please read the instructions carefully before use.
• Electrode bulbs are very fragile, avoid collision with hard objects when using.
• When measuring different samples, be sure to fully rinse the Electrode with distillation or deionized water and blot dry with filter paper to prevent cross-contamination.
• When not in use for a long time, the Electrode should be soaked in a special Electrode soaking solution and should not be dried.
When the instrument has a low voltage alarm, the spare battery should be replaced in time.
• The instrument meets the IP57 waterproof rating, but do not immerse the whole machine in liquid when cleaning, only the Electrode part can be washed.
• The buffer used for calibrating should be kept clean and replaced in time after contamination to ensure the accuracy of calibrating.
• If the instrument indicates that the Electrode is failing, it may be necessary to check or replace the Electrode.
