Overview
The YOKE P302 pen acidity meter is an ultra-small and ultra-thin Portable pH measuring instrument with a size of 148 × 29 × 14mm and an Electrode diameter of only 10mm. It is suitable for small volume sample measurement such as testtube. It has intelligent functions such as automatic calibration and automatic shutdown. It meets IP57 waterproof rating and comes with a special meter box containing correction solution, Electrode immersion liquid and spare battery.
Features
1. Ultra-small and ultra-thin shape design, size 148 × 29 × 14mm, Electrode diameter 10mm, can measure the ph value in the testtube.
2. Intelligent functions, including automatic correction, automatic shutdown, low voltage alarm and Electrode failure reminder.
3. Reliable design, in line with IP57 waterproof rating, Electrode replaceable, instrument box equipped with correction solution, Electrode immersion liquid and spare battery.
4. Long battery life, using two CR2032 lithium batteries, can be used continuously for more than 100 hours.
Principle
The pen acidity meter uses the built-in pH Electrode to sense the concentration of hydrogen ions in the solution to be tested, generating a corresponding potential difference. The instrument converts this potential difference signal into a ph value reading and automatically performs temperature compensation to ensure the accuracy of the measurement results.
Applications
Laboratory, education and research, water quality testing, food and beverage, agricultural soil, industrial production process control
Standards
IP57 Protection Ratings
Steps
1. Open the meter box and take out the pen acidity meter.
2. Electrode rinse with deionized water or distillation water and blot dry with filter paper.
3. 1 to 3 point Automatic calibration using the standard buffer solution (pH4.00/6.86/9.18) provided in the meter box.
4. Immerse the Electrode in the sample to be tested and shake it gently to ensure that the Electrode is in full contact with the solution.
5. After waiting for the reading to stabilize, record the ph value on the display.
6. After the measurement is completed, rinse the Electrode with deionized water or distillation water and soak it in the Electrode immersion solution provided by the instrument box.
7. Press the power button to turn off the instrument or wait for it to shut down automatically.
Notice
• Do not expose Electrode to air for a long time, and soak it in a special protective solution when measuring gaps or storing.
• Electrode contact with strong acids, alkalis or corrosion solutions to prevent damage to the sensitive Glass film.
• Measurement accuracy is regularly calibrated with a standard buffer solution.
When the instrument displays a low voltage alarm, the spare battery in the instrument box should be replaced in time.
• The instrument meets the IP57 waterproof rating, but do not immerse the whole machine in liquid when cleaning, only rinse the Electrode part.
• If the instrument prompts Electrode failure, please check the status of Electrode or contact the supplier to replace Electrode.
• Do not use beyond the specified Measurement range (-1.00~ 15.00 pH) or temperature compensation range (0~ 99.9 ℃).
