Overview
QIWEI PHS-3CWB pH meter is a Benchtop microcomputer rechargeable pH measuring instrument with manual temperature compensation and measurement accuracy of 0.01/0 pH. The instrument has a built-in smart chip, supports Data storage and extraction functions, and adopts imported high-quality integrated components to ensure stable and reliable measurement. Three pH standard buffer solutions of 4.00, 6.86 and 9.18 are required for calibration.
Features
1. Using imported high-quality integrated components, the measurement is stable and reliable.
2. Data storage and extraction functions.
3. Support manual temperature compensation.
4. Built-in smart chip, support one, two or three point Automatic calibration, adapt to different accuracy and Measurement range requirements.
5. Rechargeable design, easy to use.
6. In addition to pH measurement, it can also switch the measurement mV value and use it with ORP Electrode or Ion Electrode.
Principle
The PHS-3CWB pH meter senses the activity of hydrogen ions in the solution through pH composite Electrode to generate a corresponding potential difference (mV signal). The circuitry inside the instrument amplifies and processes this potential difference signal, and compensates and calculates according to the manually entered temperature value, and finally converts it to the corresponding ph value on the display screen. Its built-in smart chip supports multi-point calibrating to correct the Electrode slope and ensure Measurement accuracy.
Applications
Laboratory water quality analysis, environment monitoring, chemical production, Food processing, agricultural soil testing, education and scientific research and other fields that require accurate measurement of ph value.
Standards
The data did not mention specific compliance criteria.
Steps
1. Preparation before use: Connect the Power Adapter, install Electrode, and warm up for 5 minutes.
2. Calibration: measurement buffer temperature and manually set the instrument temperature value.
2.1 Positioning calibrate: Immerse Electrode in pH 6.86 buffer, stabilize and press the "calibrate" button to complete the positioning.
2.2 slope calibrate I: After washing the Electrode, immerse in the pH 4.00 buffer, and press the "calibrate" button to complete the calibrate I.
2.3 slope calibrate II: Immerse in pH 9.18 buffer after washing Electrode, and press and hold the "calibrate" button to complete calibrate II after stabilization.
3. measurement of solution pH value: measurement of the temperature of the liquid to be tested and set the temperature of the instrument, after washing the Electrode immersed in the liquid to be tested, stable reading.
4. Measurement mV value: Press the "pH/mV" button to switch to the mV file, connect the corresponding Electrode and immerse it in the test solution, and stabilize the reading.
Notice
• Electrode plugs should be kept clean and drying before use to avoid contamination.
The standard buffer solution used must be accurate and reliable.
• Electrode should be washed with pure water and dried before calibrating or measurement.
• When calibrating or measuring, immerse the Electrode in the solution and stir it a little, then rest until the value stabilizes.
• The closer the temperature of the measured solution is to the temperature of the calibrated solution, the higher the Measuring accuracy.
• When using pH Electrode or Electrode aging for the first time, three-point calibrating is recommended to improve accuracy.
• Ambient Temperature of the instrument is 0~ 40 ℃, relative humidity < 85%.
• Standard Electrode (E201-C Plastic Shell PH Composite Electrode) is suitable for measurement in the solution Temperature range of 5-60 ° C.
