The QIWEI PHS-3CB is a Benchtop precision rechargeable pH Meter with a white backlit design that simultaneously displays the pH value or the mV value of the potential. The instrument has a built-in battery and is suitable for laboratory sampling of aqueous solutions in Universities & colleges, research institutes, environment monitoring, industrial and mining enterprises and other departments. Principle
The Working Principle of PHS-3CB pH Meter is based on the Sensor (pH Compound Electrode) to convert the activity of hydrogen ions in aqueous solution into electric energy. After the electric energy is input into the instrument, it is converted into digital display through operation amplifier, current detection, and then converted into digital display by A/D converter. This conversion process conforms to Nernst equation.

Steps
1. Preparation before use: Install the Electrode frame, connect the composite Electrode, connect the power supply and preheat.
2. pH Meter calibrate: Select the pH file, put the Electrode into the standard buffer solution of pH = 6.86 and pH = 4.00 (or pH9.18) in turn, and adjust the positioning and slope knobs to the Standard value at the corresponding temperature.
3. Measurement ph value: According to whether the temperature of the tested solution and the correction solution is the same, after adjusting the temperature knob, insert Electrode into the tested solution, and read the ph value after the reading is stable.
4. Electrode measurement potential (mV value): Connect the corresponding Ion selective electrode, clean and suck dry the Electrode, insert the tested solution, and read the mV value after the reading is stable.
Notice
• Electrode-sensitive Glass bubbles should be avoided from contact with hard objects to prevent damage and failure.
• After measurement, Electrode should put on a protective cap, and put a small amount of 3MOL/L potassium chloride supplement in the cap to keep the bulbs moist.
• Electrode Q9 plugs need to be kept clean and drying.
• Electrode should avoid long-term immersion in distillation water, protein solution, acidic fluoride solution, and prevent contact with silicone grease.
• Electrode layer is reduced after long-term use, the lower end can be soaked in 4% hydrofluoric acid for 3-5 seconds after cleaning, and then soaked in potassium chloride solution to regenerate.
• Electrode contaminated passivating, according to the nature of contaminants to choose the appropriate solution cleaning and regeneration, do not use carbon tetrachloride, trichloroethylene, tetrahydrofuran will dissolve carbonic acid Resin Reagents.
