Overview
The QIWEI PHS-3CB is a Benchtop microcomputer rechargeable pH Meter with high Measurement accuracy, pH value accuracy of 0.01pH and temperature accuracy of +/- 1 ° C. The instrument uses touch button operation, supports manual temperature compensation and automatically recognizes calibrated solutions, and is designed for precision measurement of solution acidity (ph value) and Electrode potential (mV) in the laboratory.

Principle
The instrument senses the activity of hydrogen ions in the solution through pH composite Electrode and converts it into a corresponding potential signal. The potential signal is proportional to the pH value of the solution. The internal circuit of the instrument measures this potential, and after manual temperature compensation calibrates, the pH value of the solution is directly displayed on the display screen. When measuring the mV value, the instrument directly measures the potential difference of Electrode relative to the reference Electrode.

Steps
1. Preparation before use: Connect the Power Adapter, install Electrode, and warm up for 5 minutes.
2. pH Meter Calibration: According to the Measurement accuracy requirements, select one point, two point or three point method, use standard buffer solution (such as 4.00, 6.86, 9.18) for calibrating. The operation includes adjusting the temperature, positioning calibrate (such as with pH6.86 buffer) and slope calibrate (such as with pH4.00 and pH9.18 buffer).
3. measurement of solution pH value: measurement and adjustment of solution temperature, immerse the washed Electrode in the tested solution, and record the pH value after the reading is stable.
4. Measurement mV value: Switch to the "mV" file, connect the corresponding Electrode (such as ORP Electrode), immerse in the solution, and record the mV value after the reading is stable.
Notice
• Electrode plugs should be kept clean and drying before use to avoid contamination.
The standard buffer solution used for calibration must be accurate and reliable.
• Wash and dry Electrode with pure water before calibrating or measurement.
• When measuring, record after the reading is stable.
• The closer the temperature of the measured solution is to the temperature of the calibrated solution, the higher the Measuring accuracy.
• Three-point calibrated pH Electrode is recommended for first use.
• Ambient Temperature allowed for the instrument is 0~ 40 ° C, relative humidity < 85%.
• Standard Electrode (E201-C) is suitable for measurement in the solution temperature range of 5-60 ° C.
