Overview
QIWEI PHS-2CB is a Benchtop precision rechargeable pH meter for sampling the pH value of aqueous solutions and the measurement of Electrode Potential (mV). The instrument is suitable for laboratory High Accuracy measurement in industrial and mining enterprises, scientific research, agriculture, teaching, environmental protection and other units. Standard E201-C composite Electrode, Measurement accuracy is +/- 0.02pH, and optional diamond bracket.
Features
1. Dual function: can measure ph value and Electrode potential (mV value).
2. High Accuracy: pH Measurement accuracy is +/- 0.02pH.
3. Rechargeable design: Power Adapter or power cord for mobile use.
4. Complete standard: standard E201-C composite Electrode.
5. Optional accessories: optional diamond bracket, easy to operate.
Principle
The instrument converts the hydrogen ion activity in the solution to be measured into an electrical signal by connecting the pH composite Electrode. The user calibrates through the positioning knob, slope knob and temperature knob to compensate for the influence of the standard buffer value and solution temperature, and finally displays the exact pH value or mV value on the instrument.
Applications
Industrial and mining enterprises, scientific research, agriculture, teaching, environmental protection
Standards
pH4.00、pH6.86、pH9.18
Steps
1. Turn on the instrument power switch.
2. Connect the pH composite Electrode to the Electrode socket.
3. Use the pH/mV switch to select the Measurement mode (pH or mV).
4. According to the temperature of the solution to be measured, adjust the temperature knob to set the temperature value.
5, calibrate: immerse Electrode in pH6.86 standard buffer, adjust to the corresponding value at this temperature with the positioning knob; then immerse Electrode in pH4.00 or pH9.18 standard buffer, adjust to the corresponding value with the slope knob.
6. After the calibrating is completed, immerse the Electrode in the solution to be tested for measurement and read the displayed value.
Notice
• Operating Environment Temperature should be between 5~ 40 ℃, relative humidity ≤ 80%.
The temperature of the tested solution should be between 5 and 60 degrees Celsius.
• Power supply is 220V/50Hz.
• The instrument should be avoided in an environment with significant vibration and strong electromagnetic field interference.
• When calibrating, adjust the value of the standard buffer according to the corresponding temperature.
• Make sure the Electrode connection is correct before measurement (interface model: Q9).
