Overview
The QIWEI PHS-25B is a Benchtop precision rechargeable acid alkalinity tester with a Measurement accuracy of +/- 0.05pH. The instrument can simultaneously measure ph value and mV value, and uses a white backlit display. Its core feature is a built-in rechargeable battery, which can be powered by either the Power Adapter or the battery after unplugging the power cord. It is easy to operate and can last for 10 to 15 hours on a single charge.
Features
1. Measurement accuracy is high, pH Measurement accuracy is +/- 0.05pH.
2. Multifunctional measurement, can simultaneously measure ph value and mV value.
3. Equipped with a white backlit display for clear readings.
4. Built-in rechargeable battery, supports off-grid use, and has strong portability.
5. The battery has a long battery life and can be used for 10 to 15 hours on a single charge.
6. Provide pH/mV transfer switch, easy to switch Measurement mode.
Principle
The Working Principle of PHS-25B acid alkalinity tester is to convert the activity of hydrogen ions in the aqueous solution to be measured into a weak electrical signal through Sensor (pH composite Electrode). The electrical signal is input into the instrument, processed by operational amplifier, checked current, and then converted into a digital signal through an analog-to-digital (A/D) converter, and finally displayed in digital form on the display screen. PH value or mV value.
Applications
Water quality analysis, laboratory testing, industrial production process control, environment monitoring, education and research
Standards
pH4.00 standard buffer solution, pH6.86 standard buffer solution, pH9.18 standard buffer solution
Steps
1. Turn on the power switch of the instrument.
2. Connect the pH composite Electrode to the Electrode socket (Q9 interface).
3. Use the pH/mV changeover switch to select the desired Measurement mode (pH or mV).
4. According to the temperature of the solution to be tested, adjust the temperature knob to set the temperature value.
5. Perform calibrate: Immerse Electrode in pH6.86 standard buffer, adjust the positioning knob to the Standard value at this temperature; then immerse Electrode in pH4.00 or pH9.18 standard buffer, adjust the slope knob to the corresponding Standard value.
6. After calibrating, wash the Electrode and immerse it in the solution to be tested to read the stable Measured value.
7. Turn off the power after use, clean and store the Electrode properly.
Notice
• When calibrating the instrument, be sure to adjust the positioning knob and slope knob correctly according to the temperature value marked on the standard buffer solution bottle.
• When connecting Electrode, please confirm that the interface model is Q9.
• The instrument can be powered by a regulated Power Adapter or a built-in battery.
• To maintain measurement accuracy, calibrate regularly with a matching standard buffer solution.
• Do not expose the Electrode to air for a long time, and store it in the Electrode protective liquid after use.
• Note the model history of the instrument: the prototype number of the PHS-25 is PHS-25C, and the prototype number of the PHS-25C is PHS-25CB.
