Overview
A.shine Dyne pen Model 28 is a professional tool for testing the surface tension of materials. It can accurately detect whether materials such as Plastic film meet the specified Dyne Level, and help users evaluate whether the material is suitable for printing, compounding or vacuum aluminizing processes, so as to effectively control mass and reduce losses.
Features
1. Built-in 15ml test solution, can be used more than 100 times
2. Shelf life is 6-8 months
3. The pen tip is carefully designed to reduce the contact between dyne liquid and air
4. Each pen has undergone multiple inspections and the quality is guaranteed
5. Strictly comply with ASTM Standard D2578 and TAPPI T698
Principle
Dyne pen uses the nib to scribble the test liquid on the surface of the material and observe whether the liquid cissing within 3 seconds to determine whether the surface tension of the material reaches the selected Dyne Level. If there is no cissing, the standard is met; otherwise, it is not met.
Applications
Plastic film: PS, PE, PP, PET, PI, PC, NY, CPP, OPP, PVC, conductive materials: aluminum foil, copper foil, carbon foil, vapor coating, Miscellaneous materials: Glass, ceramics, plastic sheet, plastic pipe
Standards
ASTM Standard D2578、TAPPI T698
Steps
1. Choose the right Dyne Level corona pen
2. Clean the film surface and lay it flat on a horizontal table
3. Use a corona pen to stroke lightly on the film surface
4. Observe whether the liquid cissing within three seconds: if there is no cissing, the selected dyne will be reached, otherwise it will not be reached
Notice
Avoid skin/eye contact
Avoid inhaling vapors, mists, or gases
Keep away from heat and ignition sources
