Overview
A.shine Dyne pen Model 20 is a professional tool for testing the surface tension of materials. It can accurately determine whether the surface tension of materials such as Plastic film reaches the set value, and help users determine whether the material is suitable for printing, compounding or vacuum aluminizing processes. Effectively control mass and reduce losses.
Features
1. Built-in 15ml test solution, can be used more than 100 times; 2. Shelf life is 6-8 months; 3. The pen is carefully designed to reduce the contact between dyne liquid and air; 4. Each pen has undergone multiple inspections and the quality is guaranteed; 5. Strictly comply with ASTM Standard D2578 and TAPPI T698 standards.
Principle
Dyne pen scribe test liquid on the surface of the material through the nib, observe whether the liquid cissing within 3 seconds to determine whether the surface tension reaches the selected Dyne Level, if the liquid has no cissing, it meets the standard, and vice versa.
Applications
Plastic films: PS, PE, PP, PET, PI, PC, NY, CPP, OPP, PVC; Conductive materials: aluminum foil, copper foil, carbon foil, vapor coating; Miscellaneous materials: Glass, ceramics, plastic sheets, plastic pipes, etc.
Standards
ASTM Standard D2578、TAPPI T698
Steps
1. Select the appropriate Dyne Level corona pen; 2. Clean the surface of the film and lay it flat on a horizontal table; 3. Use the corona pen to stroke lightly on the film surface; 4. Observe whether the liquid is cissing within three seconds. If there is no cissing, it will reach the selected dyne, and vice versa.
Notice
Avoid skin/eye contact; avoid inhalation of vapors, mists, or gases; keep away from heat and ignition sources.
