Overview
A.shine Dyne pen model 26 is a professional tool for testing the surface tension of materials. It has a built-in 15ml test solution and can be used more than 100 times for repeatability. It can accurately determine whether the surface tension of materials such as Plastic film reaches the set value, help users determine whether the material is suitable for printing, compounding or vacuum aluminizing processes, effectively control mass and reduce losses.
Features
1. Built-in 15ml test solution, which can be used more than 100 times
2. Shelf life is 6-8 months
3. The pen tip is carefully designed to reduce the contact between dyne liquid and air
4. Each pen has undergone multiple inspections and the quality is guaranteed
5. Strictly comply with ASTM Standards D2578 and TAPPI T698
Principle
Dyne pen determines the surface tension of the material by applying a specific Dyne Level test solution to the surface of the material and observing the cissing of the liquid within 3 seconds. If the liquid has no cissing, it indicates that the surface tension of the material has reached the selected Dyne Level; otherwise, it has not reached.
Applications
Plastic film: PS, PE, PP, PET, PI, PC, NY, CPP, OPP, PVC, conductive materials: aluminum foil, copper foil, carbon foil, vapor coating, Miscellaneous materials: Glass, ceramics, plastic sheet, plastic pipe
Standards
ASTM Standard D2578、TAPPI T698
Steps
1. Choose the right Dyne Level corona pen
2. Clean the film surface and lay it flat on a horizontal table
3. Use a corona pen to stroke lightly on the film surface
4. Observe whether the liquid cissing within three seconds: if there is no cissing, the selected dyne will be reached, otherwise it will not be reached
Notice
• Avoid skin/eye contact
• Avoid inhaling vapors, mists or gases
Keep away from heat and ignition sources
• The valid period is 6 months (from the date of opening the lid)
