Overview
SHENYANGTIANXING W-20b Webster Hardness Tester is one of the W-20 series, designed to test small Aluminum profiles and aluminum pipes with an inner diameter greater than 6mm. This instrument can quickly detect aluminum alloy Hardness on the production site and is the preferred tool for inspection of the mechanical properties of aluminum alloy profiles.
Features
1. The pressure needle is made of imported special steel material, which has high Hardness, good toughness, long life and good interchangeability. Encasement imported from Germany provides comprehensive protection.
2. The pointer assembly has high strength and is not easy to bend and deform after long-term use or wrong operation.
3. The table window is made of high strength and high toughness Glass, which is not easy to break after Impact.
4. The handle is forged aluminum alloy material, anodic oxidation treatment, beautiful, wear-resistant and pollution-resistant.
5. Hardness block uses standard Rockwell hardness tester, laser etching number and Hardness value, surface roughness and Smoothness meet the requirements of the code.
6. Fine parts processing, precision machine assembly and strict mass inspection ensure high mass.
7. Stability is good, the fullness point and correction point are stable, and the pointer does not "crawl".
8. The conversion is convenient. The Wechsler Hardness value can be converted to Wechsler, Rockwell, Brinell and other Hardness values through the manual conversion table or mobile phone application.
9. Good portability, equipped with high-mass portable instrument case and buffer sponge, easy to carry and protect the instrument.
Principle
Webster Hardness Tester provides rapid, non-Destructiveness testing by applying pressure to the specimen, based on the Depth of Injection or the associated Mechanical Response measurement Hardness.
Applications
Aluminum alloy profiles, aluminum pipes, aluminum plates, aluminum parts, softer metals, doors, windows and curtain walls
Standards
Measurement verification procedure
Steps
1. Prepare the sample to ensure that the inner diameter is greater than 6mm and the thickness does not exceed 8mm.
2. Use the calibration wrench and Hardness block for instrument calibration.
3. Point the crimp at the surface of the specimen and apply pressure for testing.
4. Read the Wechsler Hardness value displayed by the pointer (range 0~ 20HW).
5. Convert Wechsler Hardness value to Miscellaneous Hardness value through conversion table or mobile app.
Notice
• Only suitable for aluminum pipes with an inner diameter greater than 6mm and small Aluminum profiles.
• The maximum sample thickness is 8mm to avoid overuse.
• Hardness block calibration instrument is required before testing to ensure accuracy.
• Avoid Strong Impact on Surface Window Glass to Prevent Breaking.
• Check the pressure pin and pointer assembly after long-term use, and replace it in time if damaged.
• Clean the instrument after use and store it in the portable case to prevent contamination and damage.
